Our Services
Family Dentistry
Family dentistry is a type of dental practice that caters to patients of all ages, from children to the elderly. Family dentistry aims to prevent and treat oral health problems for patients of all ages.
Our family dentist provides many services to meet your dental needs. We offer preventive, restorative, cosmetic, and emergency dental treatments. Our goal is to help you keep your smile healthy for a lifetime.
At Promenade Dental, our dentist recommends visiting us at least twice a year for a routine cleaning and exam. However, you may need to come in more often if you have specific oral health concerns. We will work with you to create a treatment plan that meets your needs.
Cosmetic Dentistry
A beautiful smile is one of the first things people notice about you, and cosmetic dentistry can help you feel confident about your smile again. Cosmetic dentistry is a branch of dentistry that improves the appearance of the mouth, teeth, and smile. Cosmetic dentists focus on improving the overall appearance of your smile.
At Promenade Dental, we offer various cosmetic dental services to help you achieve the smile of your dreams. These treatments include teeth whitening, veneers, crowns, bridges, dental implants, and more. Our dentists will work with you to determine which procedure best meets your needs and goals.
Implants
A dental implant is an artificial tooth root surgically placed into your jaw to hold a replacement tooth. The implant is made of titanium, which can naturally be fused with your bone to create a strong bond. Once the implant is in place, a crown, bridge, or denture can be attached.
At Promenade Dental, dental implants are a popular option for replacing missing teeth because they look and feel like natural teeth. They are also durable and can last for many years with proper care. In addition, implants can help to prevent bone loss in the jaw, which can occur after tooth loss.
Crowns
A dental crown is a tooth-shaped cap placed over a tooth to completely cover it, restoring the tooth’s shape, size, strength, and appearance. The crown is customized to match the color of your natural teeth to blend in with your smile. It is then cemented into place over the damaged tooth.
At Promenade Dental, we use dental crowns to repair teeth that are broken or decayed. They can also be used to function as the visible components of dental implant restorations, support a bridge, cover a discolored tooth, or protect a weak tooth from breaking.
Dental crowns can be made from various materials, including porcelain, ceramic, metal alloys, resin, and gold. Porcelain and ceramic crowns are most commonly used because they look natural.
ZOOM! Teeth Whitening
A bright, white smile is a universal symbol of health and confidence. However, our teeth can become stained and discolored over time due to various factors like age, diet, and lifestyle choices. Fortunately, modern dentistry offers a range of teeth whitening solutions, with Zoom! Teeth Whitening being one of the most popular and effective options available.
Zoom! Teeth Whitening is a professional teeth whitening procedure designed to provide fast and dramatic results. It is an in-office treatment performed by qualified dentists at Promenade Dental and is known for its ability to lighten tooth discoloration and staining in just one visit.
Root Canals
A root canal is a procedure performed when a tooth's nerve and pulp become infected or inflamed. Various conditions, including tooth decay, trauma to the tooth, repeated dental procedures on the tooth, or large fillings, can cause the infection. When this occurs, the dental pulp inside the tooth becomes irritated and infected. This infection can cause an abscess in the tooth, resulting in swelling and pain. If left untreated, the infection can spread to other areas of the mouth and even other parts of the body. A root canal can treat this infection without needing to extract the tooth.
During a root canal at Promenade Dental, the dentist will remove the nerve and pulp from the tooth. Once the nerve and pulp have been removed, the inside of the tooth will be cleaned and sealed. This procedure can save the tooth from extraction and prevent further infection and pain.
Other Services
Veneers
Dental veneers are thin, tooth-colored shells bonded to the front of your teeth to improve their appearance. They cover teeth that are discolored or stained, chipped, misaligned, misshapen, or have gaps between teeth. Veneers are custom-made for each patient and are made from porcelain or composite resin material.
Veneers can completely transform your smile! At Promenade Dental, our dentists may recommend dental veneers to help you achieve your dream smile.
Dentures
Losing natural teeth can be a challenging and emotional experience, affecting your appearance and your ability to eat and speak comfortably. Fortunately, dentures are an effective solution to replace missing teeth and restore your smile. At Promenade Dental, we offer various denture options to meet your needs and budget.
Dentures are removable appliances that can replace one or multiple missing teeth. They are custom-made to fit your mouth and match the appearance of your natural teeth. Dentures are made of either acrylic resin or porcelain and are held in place by suction, clips, or adhesive. Dentures can also help you maintain your facial structure and prevent bone loss in your jaw. In addition, they can help you feel more confident about your smile and boost your self-esteem.
Extractions
When a tooth is severely damaged or decayed, it may need to be extracted. An extraction is a procedure in which a dentist removes a tooth from its socket in the bone. A dentist may recommend an extraction if a patient has severe decay or infection that cannot be repaired with fillings or other treatments.
There are several types of extractions. The most common type is a simple extraction, which can be performed under local anesthesia. The tooth will be loosened and elevated from the gums using an elevator tool and then removed with forceps.
The other type of extraction is called surgical extraction. This type of extraction requires general anesthesia because the dentist needs to cut away tissue and bone to access the tooth. At Promenade Dental, we often perform surgical extraction when a tooth has broken off at the gum line or has not erupted fully through the gum.
Night Guards
A night guard is a plastic appliance that protects your teeth from grinding and clenching while you sleep. Grinding and clenching, also known as bruxism, can cause severe tooth wear, jaw pain, headaches, and even TMJ disorder. The night guard acts as a barrier between your upper and lower teeth to protect them from the damage caused by grinding or clenching.
At Promenade Dental, our dentist will take an impression of your mouth to create a customized night guard that would fit you comfortably. The impression is sent to a lab where your custom night guard is made. Once the night guard is fabricated, we will ensure it is comfortable and fits appropriately before giving it to you to wear at home.
